The house and grounds are available for rent year-round for weddings, receptions, parties, reunions, luncheons, dinners, meetings, workshops, and other special events.

The owners of  The Marshall Orr House, Anderson County Woman's Club (ACWC) is a Non-profit 501(c)3 organization that was formed in 1971 with the charter to promote educational and cultural betterment in Anderson County.  Ownership of the Marshall Orr House was transferred to the  ACWC in 1973 by a Codicil to Mrs. Helen Hammett Orr's Will.  In this document Helen expressed her desire that the home and surrounding grounds be placed on the National Register of Historical Places and be maintained forever for public use. Helen further specified that the property be used for the benefit of and as a meeting place for women's clubs in Anderson County, and for similar uses related to their programs and purposes. To encourage use of the house for these purposes, ACWC is currently offering a Small Group Special.
